The COVID-19 pandemic has posed many challenges over the past few months and has caused subsequent changes. ELCO Mutual (ELCO) remains strong and is adapting to these new circumstances as the situation progresses.
Our number one concern is the health and safety of our employees, their families, our community, and the individuals we serve. In a measure to safeguard our employee's health, ELCO Mutual's management team has implemented a work from home policy. Many of our employees will be working remotely, while some will still come into the office.
All facets of the business are still being conducted, and in most cases, there won't be much of a difference in the day-to-interaction you may have with ELCO. However, due to this new environment, some processing time may take slightly longer than usual.
ELCO Mutual's team will work diligently to provide the same level of customer service you and your clients are accustomed to receiving. We ask for your patience as we navigate through these new arrangements. Lastly, ELCO's management team has banned all business travel and in-person meetings until further notice due to the same reasons listed above.
The management team was able to enact these adjustments swiftly because of the diligent preparation put into the company's business continuity plan. Our team stands as strong as ever and is ready for all potential situations such as these.
We wish for you, your friends and your family to stay healthy during this time.
We thank you for your support and patience as we continue to build a better future together.
